School Factory Space Federation

The School Factory is a voluntary think-tank concerning public education occurring through community participation. It concerns the development of community-owned and operated learning centers and learning environments. They provide leadership, infrastructure, and training to local community leaders who implement their center following a self-constructed design plan. Space Federation links together hacker, maker, and coworking spaces into a sustainable network of sharing and support.
Role
Co-founded, designed, and implemented a US-wide skill-sharing collaboration between hacker, maker, and coworking spaces. Organized and facilitated summits and collective efforts via SpaceCamp, helped new spaces get started and become stable, and wrote collective grants for educational programs.
