The Overseas Development Institute (ODI) is an independent think tank on international development and humanitarian issues, founded in 1960. Dialling Up Resilience is a project to assess and track subjective indicators of resilience awarded through the Global Resilience Challenge proffered by Rockafeller.
Role
Consulted in how indicators of resilience could be sourced from local communities contextually, what survey technology could be used to gather that information respectfully and at scale, and how that data can be made useful to both the community and to the agencies distributing resources. Our team of 8 interviewed 80 residents to devise a survey system usable by thousands. Put out two reports about our findings and process.
