The Internet Monitor
December 2014
Cambridge, MA
The Berkman Klein Center’s mission is to explore and understand cyberspace; to study its development, dynamics, norms, and standards; and to assess the need or lack thereof for laws and sanctions.
Internet Monitor’s aim is to evaluate, describe, and summarize the means, mechanisms, and extent of Internet content controls and Internet activity around the world. The project helps researchers, advocates, policymakers, and user communities understand trends in Internet health and activity through research, analysis, and data visualization.
Role
Created visuals to accompany some of the reports in the 2014 Internet Monitor. These individual story visuals then folded together as visual summaries for each of the 4 sections.
