Geeks Without Bounds is an accelerator for humanitarian projects that takes teams through a six month mentorship cycle to bring good intentions to a state of deployment.
Everyone Hacks is a hackathon that focuses on education, with an eye towards inclusion of women and other under represented demographics in the tech industry.
Role
Organized and facilitated the inclusive EveryoneHacks with Hewlett Packward and PG&E (Pacific Gas & Electric) in San Francisco. 5 speakers, 7 mentors, 70 attendees, 4 sponsors. Managed logistics for the event, visioning with hosts, structure and facilitation of the event, and continuation support for projects and participants.
